What Do You Want For Christmas?
Just hear those sleigh bells jingle-ing ring ting tingle-ing too  We went into the halls to see what our Raider elves want most from Santa. Here's what they had to say:

Advanced Placement Literature student Vincent Cruz wants
 "the slaying of Moby Dick."
"I want a good job," says Adeola
Dr. Rosen Fox wants "all my students to be successful."
"I want to enjoy the holidays with me friends and family,"
says senior Ashley Abreu
Senior Fatima wants "a college acceptance letter from Stony Brook.
Ms. Coakley says, "I want to win the lottery to pay off my son's college loans."
"I want endless beef patties!" says senior Christine Shouldis
Mr. Luongo (with elf Peter Enia) wants "continued good health."
"I want my students to come to school on time and attend all of their classes," says Ms. Lucignano

Senior Kayla Staiano (left) says, "I want my mom to be cancer free."
The staff of The Crow's Nest hopes all Raiders get what they want most this holiday!

Port Shows Holiday Spirit At "The Holiday Fair"
This weekend, Port hosted its first Holiday Fair for the Staten Island community. Organized by COSA Mr. Medugno and the Student Government, the ordinary school cafeteria was transformed into a wondrous toy workshop.  This fair was a fundraiser for the school and along with the great music from Port's music students and amazing vendors, Port's Culinary Department made and sold delicious food that was eaten up by shoppers. The Helping Hands Club, led by Ms. DiAngelo, had arts and crafts for the children, and also a meet-and-greet with Santa. The prospects were a success and everyone enjoyed themselves. There is no doubt that next year will be even bigger.

Ugly Sweater Day
Port ended Spirit Week with Ugly Sweater Day. Raiders found the ugliest sweaters in their closet, and showed it off at school, in hopes of winning the competition. To see more pictures, go on the school's Instagram @prstudentsactivities, and if you liked this Spirit Week, there will be another soon, so watch for announcements by COSA Mr. Medugno. Tell us: who do you think had the ugliest sweater?

Dress Like A Teacher
While walking the halls of Port today, you might have thought you were seeing double, but it's actually our Raiders dressing up like their teachers for the fourth day of Spirit Week. Many teachers have gotten a kick out of seeing their "mini-me's" all around the building, and students have also enjoyed seeing their peers' creativity in finding the perfect outfits for the day.
Which one is the real Luongo?

Will the real Ben Franklin please stand up?
Quien es la verdadera Sr. Romero?

Culture Day at Port!
At Port Richmond High School, Raiders participate in Spirit Week, a new addition to our school's activities. Today was "Culture Day," and many students represented their nationality by dressing in their country's clothing. This year they went above and beyond in creating their costume and posted their picture on their personal Instagram with "#prspiritweek." After this great turnout, we hope that tomorrow's "Dress Like A Teacher Day" will be an even bigger success, giving more people the special prize.
