How do you tell someone you just want to be friends?

Dear "friend,"

Telling someone you just want to be friends is never easy. It's best to be blunt about it, but let her/her down easy. Don't be too harsh. The person might get very upset or just might understand, it depends on the type of person he/she is. Good Luck!
