Last Class Meetings For The 2012-2013 School Year

Today marks the last day of the school year, and all our Raiders are already in "Summer Mode." The staff of The Crow's Nest would like to congratulate all Raiders for a year of hard work and dedication, and we would like to offer special congratulations to the graduating class of 2013. May you have a great graduation ceremony and best of luck in the years to come! For all the rest of you Raiders, have a happy and healthy summer, and we'll see you in September!

Two Well-Known Assistant Principals Retire

This June, Port Richmond High School says goodbye to two well-known assistant principals, Ms.Candace McNeece of the Television and Media Arts Academy, and Ms. Mary Mancuso of the Institute for Business, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (I.B.H.E.T.). Ms. McNeece has been instrumental in the formation and growth of the Media Arts Academy, and has also been Assistant Principal of English. She has contributed greatly to the development of "Good Morning Port Richmond," and has been extremely helpful to The Crow's Nest over the past ten years. Ms. Mancuso has been an important contributor to the development of her SLC, and has served Port Richmond High School in many other capacities over the years. The Crow's Nest would like to wish both Ms. McNeece and Ms. Mancuso wonderful and well-deserved retirements.

For the last day of Senior Week, students dressed as their favorite movie or cultural characters, and tonight, the much anticipated Senior Night will close off this special week. The Crow's Nest would like to wish everyone a fantastic night!

Senior Week Continues

Today seniors chose decades and dressed in their style. Much fun was had, and remember, tomorrow is "Character Day!" Dress up as your favorite movie or cultural character.
