Port Shows Holiday Spirit At "The Holiday Fair"
This weekend,
Port hosted its first Holiday Fair for the Staten Island community. Organized
by COSA Mr. Medugno and the Student Government, the ordinary school cafeteria
was transformed into a wondrous toy workshop.
This fair was a fundraiser for the school and along with the great music
from Port's music students and amazing vendors, Port's Culinary Department made
and sold delicious food that was eaten up by shoppers. The Helping Hands Club,
led by Ms. DiAngelo, had arts and crafts for the children, and also a
meet-and-greet with Santa. The prospects were a success and everyone enjoyed
themselves. There is no doubt that next year will be even bigger.
