St. Patrick's Day Parade
Port Richmond High School’s marching band fought
through the wind to entertain the people of New York City for the St. Patrick’s
Day parade. After having to march through
the brutal snow during Staten Island St. Patrick’s Day parade, tackling this
wind was nothing. While the band was waiting to kick off, the students had a little
fun and played music. The band members and people who were watching showed off
some dance moves. The band kicked off around 3:40 p.m. and finished around 5:00
p.m. Marching in the parade was a fun experience; everyone was having a great
time. Port Richmond Alumni came to support the marching band Amanda Jost, said,
“I had fun, it’s an awesome way to spend senior year with my close
friends.”
