Community Fair
by: Larissa Poliseno
On Saturday May 9, 2015, Port
Richmond High School got together with
its community partners and had a small fair. The Culinary Department served hot dogs and hamburgers to the attendees while students
from I.B.H.E.T. gave out fresh popcorn
and cotton candy. The NYPD showed support with their rock wall that attendees
were encouraged to climb. The FDNY also showed support by having a
smoke house where the attendees were able to experience what it would be like in a fire. There were also vendors selling Mother’s day flowers. Representatives
of Staten Island Hospital also showed up to give out information about their services. Mr. Gannon raffled off
a t.v. which one student won. The day was filled with fun and entertainment for everyone.
