Message From Our Principal, And A Special Message From Santa!

     On behalf of all members of the Raider Family, I want to wish all Raiders a joyful holiday season filled with love and happiness, and here's to an exciting 2014 that will give all of us exciting opportunities to be the best that we can be! Raider Strong!!

     Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! I hope all my good little boys and girls from Port Richmond like what I bring you this year! I'll be coming down your chimneys on Christmas Eve. Remember to work hard in school and make your parents and teachers proud. My elves are watching you! Oh, no more oatmeal cookies this year, please. I love chocolate chips M&Ms!

What Do You Want For Christmas?

     Just hear those sleigh bells jingle-ing ring ting tingle-ing too ♫♪ We went into the halls to see what our Raider elves want most from Santa. Here's what they had to say: 

Advanced Placement Literature student Vincent Cruz wants
 "the slaying of Moby Dick."

"I want a good job," says Adeola

Dr. Rosen Fox wants "all my students to be successful."

"I want to enjoy the holidays with me friends and family,"

Senior Fatima wants "a college acceptance letter from Stony Brook. 

Ms. Coakley says, "I want to win the lottery to pay off my son's college loans."

"I want endless beef patties!" says senior Christine Shouldis

"I want my students to come to school on time and attend all of their classes," says Ms. Lucignano

Port Shows Holiday Spirit At "The Holiday Fair"

     This weekend, Port hosted its first Holiday Fair for the Staten Island community. Organized by COSA Mr. Medugno and the Student Government, the ordinary school cafeteria was transformed into a wondrous toy workshop.  This fair was a fundraiser for the school and along with the great music from Port's music students and amazing vendors, Port's Culinary Department made and sold delicious food that was eaten up by shoppers. The Helping Hands Club, led by Ms. DiAngelo, had arts and crafts for the children, and also a meet-and-greet with Santa. The prospects were a success and everyone enjoyed themselves. There is no doubt that next year will be even bigger.
