It's Only Rock and Roll, but We Like It! Battle of the Bands!

On Friday, January 22nd, 2010, Port Richmond held its first ever "Battle of the Bands" in the auditorium. Put together by the head of COSA, Mr. Noto, and hosted by senior Jenna Jankowski and junior Chris Scott, it was an unforgettable event full of rocking music, screaming fans, and true Raider Spirit.
First up was "The Avatards", followed by "The Band Aids," next came the ever-popular "Reverse the Broken," and finishing up the night were Port seniors Justin Bruno and George Obermeyer playing acoustics.
The fans in the audience cheered, screamed, and even sprayed silly string and shot out paper confetti. In the end, Reverse the Broken took home the trophy, but all the bands put on amazing performances, something we should all be proud of.
