A Day For Love

As Valentine's Day draws near, love is in the air in Port Richmond High School. People differ greatly in their opinions of this holiday. Many Port students think that the holiday is corny and overly-commercialized, mainly intended to help candy-makers and flower shop owners; however, we the Staff of the Crow's Nest believe that Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate the power of Love. When you think about it, what greater power exists than the Love which created all of us, the Love that has the power to make you happy and to change your life? Therefore, we celebrate this holiday, and we thank all those "couples" who smiled for our "lovers' camera."
