Mardi GrasPort's annual Mardi Gras was a success! Raiders came together to celebrate what is commonly known as "Fat Tuesday" with New Orleans style cuisine made by our culinary students. Port students and staff had the opportunity to indulge in Okras, Jambalaya, Gumbo, and much more for only $5, which helps support the Culinary Department. The Jazz Band was also a big attraction at this event, as they played many musical numbers like Pick Up The Pieces, Basin Street, Preacher, and Watermelon Man, under the direction of music teacher Ms. DelRe. The very talented music students showed their love and appreciation for our school. Thanks to everyone who came out to support, and here's hoping next year is an even greater hit!
