Port Richmond High School Celebrates Spirit Week
By Alexa Agnello

During the week of December 11, 2017, Port Richmond High School students celebrated Raider Spirit by participating in a variety of activities. The week began with Raider Red day and culminated with Ugly Sweater Day.   On other days of this week, students and staff members dressed like twins and exhibited cultural pride by dressing in clothing representative of their culture. Interim Acting Principal
Oneatha Swinton participated in culture day by dressing in cultural clothing. PRHS students and staff dedicated one day of Spirit Week to raise funds and awareness for muscular dystrophy.  On PJs for PJ day,  students and staff wore their pajamas to school in honor of a child named PJ who has muscular dystrophy.  Spirit Week culminated with students gathering in the auditorium to watch The Polar Express.
